This is so sad! Poor man to be bludgeoned to death. How he must have suffered.
My sincere sympathy to his family and friends.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen!

You who murdered him, God saw you. He knows who you are. You will not escape his wrath and just punishment.
You have the nerve to heartlessly kill a brother and expect to walk the streets of DA in freedom. His blood is crying to Heaven for vengeance. May you be caught soon and pay the ultimate price for his death.
Lord, whoever murdered this man, may the person or people be caught.
Fellow Dominicans, wherever you reside this is a short and effective prayer I learnt in DA:

“Sacred Heart of Jesus, once in agony, have pity on the dying.”

Helping God to save souls. We are his hands, feet and body on earth. Could you please make a note of it and try to remember to fervently say it daily or as often as you can and when also praying, for the salvation of those who are in this state, making the transition from life to death? Please get others to say it. In other words pass it on as each one reaches one.
As God sees and hears, it will also help us at such a crucial moment on that inevitable day.
What we do/give, we receive two-fold from no other but our loving, compassionate, merciful and forgiving God. Let us help others in this respect. You know, God expects this from us. God bless!

I am unsure if I know you…but Blaize people are family ; our Hq is from Sout City. I feel a sense of numbness when I got this sad news early today. From what I am reading you seemed to have been a people’s person, popular and well loved. You made people happy around you with your laughter and your positive energy ( this was you ).

I pray that whosoever is/are responsible for this cowardly act be brought to justice and we as a people find the power of God to forgive . Vengeance unto the lord. I feel saddened at this situation. We have to stick together as a family, as a community as a country. These BLOODSHED must stopped if not we will bring a curse unto ourselves.
May Cousin Blaize rest in Peace.

Every man has his wrong doings in life as we are not perfect. Even with that said no one deserves that kind of treatment. Blaize was a very nice person, he was a friend to all. With his jovial personality he came back to Dominica and changed the way that bus drivers operate in the St. Joseph Community. He would drop you at your door steps, once his bus could reach; many people would call him late at night to transport them to their destination and he would go. He was a very reliable bus driver, a giving person and a hard worker. He would run the road late at nights and be up early in the morning to take people to work.

I said all this to; Blaize was a very nice person in my opinion and I am truly sorry you had to go that way regardless of your deeds.

This is so sad for Dominica. If its not one thing is the other in this little country. Where have we gone wrong as a people? This is time for some serious reflection and soul searching. Dominica was once a peaceful loving country, now violence and crimes are the new order of the day.

So no longer man has any fear of God? I knew in Dominica if two people have a conflict that one would look up and say “If it wasn’t for God eh.”
So where has that gone to? Where is the fear of God?
Turn to God people. He is the only hope!!
    Condolences to the family!!

You are very right, man has lost their fear of God, Dominicans are losing their fear of God. We must rais our faces to the heaven again and call on the name God.

    • April 18, 2013

Dominicans became modernized. Monkey see monkey do. When I was growing up I NEVER heard of this happening unless, in most cases, self defense. I was able to walk the streets at any time, day or night, and not have to look over my shoulder. I did not have to lock my doors or windows. Today, there is Robbery, Murder, Rape, even Kidnapping. Home is no longer safe. We do have to pray for the citizens, young and old.

  90. April 18, 2013

:( What? Blaize killed awa cant believe that. I rode your bus last night from layou to Jimmit and you were so full of joy and laughter as you drove through St. Joe seeking passengers. Whoever did this to you is an animal and should be given swift and deserving justice. I don’t care whta the circumstances are one should not take the man’s life so cruelly. What the hell is wrong with our little community, in fact what’s wrong with our damn country. Shit this is so sad. You will be missed as you were so much fun to be around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • April 18, 2013

You are right, NO ONE deserves to die like that. The JUSTICE SYSTEM needs to be more FIRM on CRIMINALS. I hope that the Government is seeking SEVERE PUNISHMENT for the CRIMINALS as much as it is seeking to stay in power and control.

It is a crying SHAME to hear of all what is happening back home.
