Anthony Marshall of Canefield has been charged with grievous bodily harm for allegedly cutting off the finger of a young man from Goodwill earlier this month.
Kiwani Jackson lost one of his fingers during an incident with the defendant on December 18, 2010.
Marshall was granted bail in the sum of $15,000 and will reappear in court on April 5, 2011 for a preliminary inquiry into the matter.
Marshall is to report to the Roseau Police Station once a week and stay out of trouble – conditions under his bail.
He appeared before a Roseau magistrate yesterday.
What does the stepmother has to do with Marshall AND HIS FINGER ISSUE if he was acting like a child and taking advice from ppl he would never be the way he is today.These days do not have children its all about MARIJUANA and ALCHOL these are what kids are all about.The young boy has to go out there and find a JOB and stop look for problem for his sickly grandmother……

he is my cousin and i kno him better than you every bad man has a good heart …he’s just like ALOT of dominican guys nowadays…looking for a sence of belonging somwhere! because there is not much to do in dominica…he’s just looking in the wrong places and getting into trouble..but he loves like everyone else and shows indifference to some people…like everyone else.. wat he did was wrong…but that doesnt give him a bad man label for life…
I know this boy from when he was a little child. I saw him growing up and everything that has happened to him which I can see has affected him. Adults in a marriage or relationship take things out on the children that are not biologically theirs because the spouse leaves them for another. You show no love towards them and treat them like they are … because of a man and pray to God everyday wishing bad for them. That is what their childish innocence turns into. Because they will try to find people and places where they can get love or be accepted. and sometimes end up in the wrong places. I know right now the step-mother is in joy over this.
I don’t condone what he has done either. He needs to better himself in a positive way. and learn to let whatever hardship he has been through growing up make him stronger and better than any disbelief, hatred or wickedness his stepmother has for him.
