Crime Stoppers Dominica is appealing to anyone with information that could assist investigations following an incident in Roseau on Thursday, May 18, 2017 which resulted in the death of Fabien Jeremy Bellot of Gallion.
The police are investigating the incident which they have described as a “suspected unlawful homicide”. Acting on information received, police discovered an injured Bellot on the river bank in Roseau in the vicinity of Save a Lot Supermarket.
According to Police PRO Pellham Jno. Baptiste, Bellot was in a semi-conscious state with multiple wounds to the head and face. He later died Princess Margaret Hospital where he was examined but he succumbed soon after that.

The news release stated that he was found in the vicinity of a well known supermarket so why can’t the police request a review of the security cameras from that supermarket to make a break through in this case. If that has not been don, then I don’t think that proper diligence is being followed by the police in this case. This victim was another human being and his death should be treated with the same value as any other case deemed to be a murder or homicide whichever they choose to categorize it. Sometimes I believe the police are too slow in combing through incidences for evidence yet they demand more pay
