It is probably one of the most anticipated shows for the Carnival Season and it will be on tonight at Carnival City in Pottersville.

Seven beauties will take to the stage in the 2013 edition of the Miss Dominica Pageant set to begin at 8:00 pm.

At the show 2012 Miss Dominica, Nadira Lando, will be be giving up the coveted crown to the one who emerges triumphant.

Chairperson of the Carnival Queen Show Committee, Romulda Hyacinth, said the contestants are ready to put on a show of class for patrons.

“The girls are all ready, the venue is being set up and everything is being secured. The contestants will be appearing in costume, talent, swimwear, evening wear and then will be asked two questions; one on their bio and one general question,” Hyacinth pointed out.

She remarked that tickets to the VIP and uncovered sitting sections are sold out, however tickets for the regular standing section are still available and urged patrons to come out in large numbers to support the contestants.

Jeanne Royer of Goodwill will appear first and will be chaperoned by Letisia Moses.

Royer will be followed by Melinda Ulysses of Stockfarm who is being chaperoned by Regina Walsh.

St Joseph resident, Kelshia Breezie, chaperoned by Kimberly Daway and Kishma Breezie, will appear third with Fatima Noel of Shawford appearing fourth. Noel is being chaperoned by Cynthia Vidal.

Hyacinth thanked all the sponsors and members of the Queen Show Committee for coming on board and making the show possible.

There was more than one light skinned girl in the pageant so your argument does not hold water. Stop talking crap, the fact that you feel inferior about yourself is noone else’s problem.
