
Debbie Auguiste has emerged as Miss Kalinago 2011 in a competion held on Saturday night in the Carib Territory.
The event was the climax of Kalinago Week and was paired with the Princess Natari competition.
Debbie managed to out-perform other competitors which included Frances Joseph, Candecilia Frederick, Shriley Mason and Adeline Auguiste. She received awards for Miss Intelligent and for Best Spectacular Wear.
Candecilia was the First Runner Up and she won award for Best Talent. Shirley Mason was Second Runner Up.
Princess Natari contestants were Terry-Ann Mason, Vera Darroux, Nicole Eustace and Toyanna Tyson.

Nicole won that title with Toyanna as First Runner Up and Vera Second Runner up.
Sponsors included LIME, Issa trading LTD, Venezuelan Embassy, Ministry of Carib Affairs, Pagua Bay Bar and Grill, Senator Louis Patrick Hill of the Virgin Islands.
The show was organized by the Karina Cultural group.
