the parade was good, however I am very disappointed that MISS WOB DWIYET USA, representing in that capacity, was allowed to parade with jeans BOOM BOOM SHORTS. we are trying so hard to teach our children to love and be proud of these aspects of our culture, and yet still, the organisers allowed this girl to parade with these school children with BOOM BOOM SHORTs. She or someone in her house hold ought to have known better.

Africans wear their Cultural dresses/robes all year round – why Dominicans have to wait to wear theirs seasonally? Makes no sense to me.

Lets be real before this parade begin we can form an avenue to supply water.Dominica is land of water no one can take the responsibility and act effectively. We are taking everything for granted and want to cast blame. We can do better than that.

Nice effort, however i could not understand why MISS WOB DWIYET USA was in poompoom shorts, representing in the parade. The organisers should never have allowed her to walk with the rest of the children especially. We are trying so hard to keep what we have as authentic as possible and this girls comes with her blue jeans poompoom shorts. she or someone in the household ought to have known better.

Parade was great!!! but need to advise the organizers and sponsors alike Re: arrangements for the kids couldn’t get Basic as WATER for my child during the said parade while event cost parents to achieve that standard. Please address this or that’s ONE Family from SMP that wont be part of this again. Sorry but that’s how I feel…

A suggestion is to bring some water from your home. I reside in a a part of the world, whenever we go out for a day we bring whatever we feel we need for the day as also water. Maybe next time you could so. Pack a small bag with these essentials. You will also not have to purchase them or stand in line to purchase them.

The little trucks brought back memories of my little boy growing up back home. He used to build them himself. Oh boy, memories are good.
