Thunderbirds should have gotten the 1st prize for the old mas instead of Carnival Corner. They were very outstanding in their Souswel Souwi costumes

Congratulations to all the prize winners; and for those who did not receive anything, they are still winners. May I add in here that the Calypso King should be given a special award; not because he is handsome and radiant, but because he is a 5 time winner and an exceptional performer.
Thanks to a good carnival season.

The Calypso King, whoever it is, gets his prize from the Dominica Calypso Association. Calypsonians do not register with the Carnival Development Committee or Festivals Commission.
