I’ve never been to you country, but soooo impressed by how all of you mobilize your time, resources and pull together with spirit to re-build and take care of your own. Your collective efficiency is amazing to watch. I hope to visit your fine country one day soon. Your Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is a great leader.

You have never been to our country, all of a sudden after a hurricane disaster you claim blindly that this political clown in power is a great leader. What specifically do you mean. In this context and light of this PM corrupt schemes abusing states funds as his personal bank. You live in a metropolitan country I bet where anyone in your government abuse states funds and give to poor people for votes and “to Like our Pm”, would be arrested and in prison. Please who you are refrain from talking and elaborating nonsense without your facts first. Please do not insult us more than we already are.
We have the Bin and Fertilizer Bobol (thievery of states funds, that’s what it means) abuse of states funds, lacks foresight, knows nothing of social and economic development. He is a fast food imprumtu leader who lacks foresight and credibility, abuses vulnerable people. Don’t disrespect our country please, we have enough nonsense coming from this corrupt PM and labour government. Skerrit…

Judith, my understanding is that they are busy working on the road. currently there is a 90% road blockage and dangerous. Some people walk it thru to get to Roseau, but things are happening. Be patient. We know how it feels not making contact. Blessings

My mother lives in Grand Bay, Center, near the police station and I’ve received a text from a friend yesterday (26th) saying that the area wasn’t hit the hardest. There is roof damage but no homes have been destroyed as far as I know but I could be wtoing. The main road is still blocked (I think) and the power and water are still down. Good news is I haven’t heard of any fatalities in that area. I hope your family are safe.

DNO and TDN radio seem to be trying to be very positive and probably only want to air what unites us at this time. That I understand but unity or positivity does not mean keeping people optimistic while the plane is crashing. This morning I was listening to TDN radio when a caller from Florida made mention of what he heard over the airways of WAVS (a Caribbean station in Fl), concerning an alleged plot to assassinate PM. After the call I immediately went on the website of WAVS1070radio.com for confirmation, and I can confirm that it is there under news 9/25/17, event 2. In fact WAVS got this from what is being reported by ABS radio and they went on to say that they contacted Anthony Astaphan, who said that he also heard the threat and reported it to the police Head Quarters in DA, and Antigua would be sending an additional 40 soldiers to protect the PM. So while no officials from DA mentioned that during the press conference, they have it hitting the airways of ABS & Florida.

People are not given enough time to file insurance claim when access to the insurance office are not possible. I think they should be given a month. They are still trying to clean up and look for food

We are concerned that there is no mention of Soufriere and Scott’s Head. We are aware through our son who lives there that there is more damage than originally suggested.

      September 26, 2017

As usual Soufriete and Scott’s Head are always at the back of the queue.

Much has been written about everywhere else but absolutely nothing about Soufriere and Scotts Head. But check this out, water and electricity have been restored in Veille Case but rot date we do not know if there have been any fatalities in Siufriere or Scotts Head.

Not only you. The same applies to Calibishie, Woodford Hill and Wesley!!
Not a word has been said about these communities let alone any aid been delivered. Sometimes one thinks Roseau is Dominica and Dominica is Roseau….
But that are the manouvres of this government.

ORDER OUT OF CHAOS, read on.

The website Deagel (https://steemit.com/news/@rebelskum/deagel-a-real-intelligence-organization-for-the-u-s-government-predicts-massive-global-depopulation-50-80) uses figures/ projections from: National Security Agency, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO – OTAN), Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), OSCE, Russian Defense Procurement Agency, Stratfor, The World Bank, United Nations (UN) to project the world’s population to 2025.

The UN will use weather manipulation via CERN/ HAARP to control then cull us. It’s hasta la vista folks, this stuff is real (extracted from: http://www.deagel.com/country/):-

Dominica, 73K now, by 2025, NIL
Puerto Rico: population now, 3.6M, by 2025: below 1 million
    Trinidad & Tobago: population now, 1.2M, by 2025, 1.1M
Antigua and Barbuda, population now, by 2025, NIL
Bermuda, 70K now, by 2025, NIL
BVI, 34K now, by 2025, NIL
    USA, 324M, by 2025, 54M!!!!!
    UK, 64M, by 2025, 14M!!

This is great to receive updates with the restoration process of Dominica. We shall do what we can to help on our end.
It has been more than 10 years since both airports in Dominica discontinued the support of aircraft using AVGAS for piston engine aircraft. The suppliers need to bring avgas back to Dominica again as we could create a link to both airports with a 10 minute flight. Besides that we would encourage more visits to the island when we are up and running again with our tourism sector. I have been asking about this for years now.

I understand you want water and electricity in your area. I don’t know the situation you are in but the country was completely wipe out they are going to focus on the high traffic first responder before going to residential areas. I want all to be back up now but some may not have power for months.
