Digicel launches new range of mobile plans with ‘a lot more value’

Digicel CEO Nikima Royer Jno Baptiste

Digicel, on Wednesday, launched a new range of mobile plans that will be giving customers a lot more value in the form of data, minutes to call other networks and unlimited Digicel calling effective Wednesday 31 July 2019.

With the new “LTE Go” bundles, prepaid customers can get up to 14GB of data to view, share and stream to their heart’s content.  In addition to unlimited Digicel calling, those customers are now able to enjoy, on various plans, allotments of minutes to call other networks. Furthermore, customers will now be able to enjoy data allotments for TV and sports via the Play-Go and SportsMax Apps, while on the move.

“We’ve given Dominica a faster and more seamless mobile data experience with the launch of our LTE network at the start of the year. Now, we’re rolling out enhanced mobile plans that will give our customers the chance to take advantage of all this network has to offer by connecting with the people and things they love most, while they’re on the move. It is part of the journey to become our customers’ digital lifestyle partner and now, with Mobile Number Portability, it’s easy for anyone to switch to Digicel even while keeping their current number,” said CEO Nikima Royer Jno Baptiste

Aside from the new plans, Digicel customers had the opportunity to seize an extraordinary deal. The chance to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for just $1.

“All it takes is a comment on Digicel’s Samsung Galaxy Note 8 post on Facebook and Instagram. The winner will be selected randomly and announced by 5PM on July 31, 2019. There’ll be a lot more happening including radio giveaways. It’s summer; we’re excited and happy to give customers more to enjoy!” Royer Jno Baptiste commented.

How Digicel just come the other day and doing so well and Cable/Lime/Flow is just sitting there like a mother hen. Flow lose more than half their staff, lose government contract, lose many business contacts. Now they losing customers black is white because people can now cross over with their same number. I think it’s time for change @ Flow. Baptiste has been there long enough.

What relationship is this woman to Roosevelt Skerrit? Isn’t she the same one managing the aerial tram when it go bankrupt? I don’t want to see any cronyism, that’s all.

Whatever Digicel. Provide your former customers before Hurricane Maria with internet service. Is it because our communities are small that your ran your lines over our heads to provide internet service to larger communities.
Everyone tele. provider stating they are the best. But how can you be the best when you leave the smaller ones behind.

You need to go in Penville and make sure we have internet. But I guess if you give us internet you won’t make thousands a month in top up. Some of us forget where we came from, Vieille Case have internet so you could care less about Amba and Penville. Today is yours tomorrow might not be.
