CNN people didn’t drive through the streets of Mahaut, New Town, Marigot, St. Joseph and much more to see the conditions. Also, to see scores of young people sitting in wonder along these distressed neighborhoods. I wonder how the arrived at their nonsense conclusion. One must continuously walk with their head down in Roseau and sporadically walk in gutters to avoid being knocked down by an uninsured motor vehicle. Dominica is my country, but please, CNN, come walk our streets before you blow hot air. Because whose in the kitchen feels the heat. Dominica is not ready for such praises.

@Danziger, everybody is asking for him. He is not on the regular forum where he always used to write either. Someone there questioned his absence; he did not respond. It has been so for some months.

He must be faced with a very serious problem, this is not like him.

Congratulations to all those who help in promoting the island rather than constantly complain and try to paint the island as otherwise. Dominica is full of potential. It’s time we harvest from this and build even further.

You people here, who cannot accept anything positive or good about Dominica, really maintain a despicable mentality, a state of the mind that does not belong among the minds of class and dignity.

How can you all deny the good which is spoken about your own homeland, to put all the false and ugly talks about her in the place of that good thing?

It is people like you all who are being disregarded in Dominica–if you all think so; so don’t blame anyone for you all’s mishap. You all have earned the sorry treatment that your disgusting mentality deserves.

    Stuuuupes man!

Dominica is a naturally beautiful place. Physically, it is a gem. There are majestic mountains, square miles of green lush vegetation, many streams and rivers, rear flora and fauna. With all these advantages, it is potentially one of the best tourist magnet in the world. Unfortunately, because of corruption, no vision, poor leadership and widespread apathy, Dominica receives the lowest tourist arrivals of the independent states in the Eastern Caribbean. This island that should be a tourist bonanza is presently a tourist graveyard. The infrastructure, the planning, the marketing, the astute leadership is sadly lacking in order for Dominica to take full advantage of its physical, natural and God-given magnificence.

Poor Pity views expressed, the Boboo still hurts. It is shameful and deceitful for You Lennox Linton to find nothing good to say about Dominica 🇩🇲, what a traitorous person you are! Even when the world doesn’t think as you do, you will still use derogatory terms towards our nation. Please use your 📜 degree from the Con Art University to uplift your nation. In case you have missed the December 6th election results, the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica give the DLP an overwhelming mandate to lead the country. In licking your wounds it only get infected so move on. Thanks CNN, Vogue Magazine, National Geographic and the other magnificent magazines for exposing the Nation.

      Yes Ma St. Joe
” the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica give the DLP an overwhelming mandate to lead the country.” The real story that we are aware of within the Financial Centre and government Offices should read the Following truth: “the people of the Commonwealth of Dominica made a big mistake and gave this failed corrupted DLP an overwhelming mandate to lead the country into poverty with “Red Clinic”. Shame.
“Who cap fits, let them wear it”. Be advised that we are feeding you with the truth. We are not part of Skerrits failed corrupted labour government. To further advise, we at the Financial Centre and other government ministries we know well what we see and hear of this corrupt government and it`s on going deception, incompetence and failure, for example “The Red Clinic”. It`s pretty obvious matter that must be cleaned out of our government and we have to begin with the dismissal of failed Skerrit and his surrounded blind bats who protects him. Skerrit has…

The newly appointed Minister of Tourism Dr. Adis King welcome the CNN high ratings of Dominica.
Yet this is one of the same people who castigated Aljeezera News for reporting on Dominica’s diplomatic passports sale.

Aljeezera like CNN are two reputable news channels!

Can Dominica develope if we are selective in relating to news about Dominica?

    Wow!!!

Dominica should be receiving more accolades about its natural beauty. The mismanagement of Dominica’s tourism product should be decried. It’s the most blessed country naturally in the Eastern Caribbean but has the fewest tourist arrivals. Compared to Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenada and St. Kitts , Dominica tourist arrival is child’s play. Why? The leader cannot lead.

CNN just had to settle a multi-million dollar lawsuit for publishing fake news about a young boy. They made claims they knew were false based on a short clip from a TWITTER video. They watched the entire video and saw the situation in context yet still published deceptive takes to tarnish the young boy’s reputation for the sake of sensational news. CNN is very very far from reputable.

Its a just a pity that they did have tie to rate this failed corrupted Skerrit and his failed Labour Government. We welcome all guests and visitors and family members wh do take the trip back home for holidays and see their families. However, one of these visitors comments over the past season the nasty state Domininca is in. Comparing that visit to Dominica to this recent visit, there has been no change in the economy, lack of tourism and attractive sites etc. Walking through Roseau and other areas are really disgusting things to see. Where is this so called government and minister for tourism. I am sad and disgusting.

Again Lennox Linton you are crying over spill milk. You are a miss leader who uses every opportunity to decry our nation. You should talk about the atrocities and the way in which your brother terrorizing people. Both Marigot and Salisbury were furnace before the election. A elderly gentleman died from his injuries he suffered ………………., so nove on. Two people were shot and have been cooperating with law enforcement again move on. With the DLP under the leadership of Dr. Skerrit the country has reached it GLORY DAYS. On the other hand, we see you as a hindrance and annoyance to the growth of our nation. Again, poverty exists even before creation and Dominica isn’t immune to that. To show how the island is growing. It’s not only Haitians that are migrating to Dominica, but St. Lucians, Jamaicans, Santos and the list goes on. Lennox you are a bitter old man who cannot get an audience, therefore, you are spewing hate and innuendos on social media. Get A Life.

“With the DLP under the leadership of Dr. Skerrit the country has reached it GLORY DAYS. On the other hand, we see you as a hindrance and annoyance to the growth of our nation. Again, poverty exists even before creation and Dominica isn’t immune to that.” Our Dominica has now become a victim of this poverty in the past 19 years. So go ask Skerrit he will explain to you`ll blind loyalists how he crippled our economy, killed our bananas, operated the Red fraudulent Clinic. Reduced our people to beggars and then walk up Financial Centre to Skerrit to receive cash handout, just to buy loyalty and say: “We love our PM”. “Pm our foot”. This man PM is a fake and a mistake and has killed or economy and agriculture…

But all your nonsense has been to the protection of Skerrit and not our poor people nor our ailing poverty island Dominica created and mismanaged by your fake Skerrit and his worthless failed corrupt Labour government. What you pen and say has no sense to me and you can`t bruise me nor affect me. Go get your failed Skerrit who has bruised our nature Island and crippled our economy. Our farmers, and vendors are crying out. Go ask Skerrit were are the banana boats to take our bananas as before to the UK? Skerrit is immature, lacks knowledge of socio-economic development, no decency to acknowledge his failures as our rural villages continue to be reduced to poverty and begging under Skerrit and his failed government. Our people cry.

Why would CNN not want the world to see where China is building it’s intelligence base right in the nose of the US?
Why would people not want to visit the country that a CARICOM leaders describes as taking an Arithmetic test because if the complications of getting here?

Well said 2020. Please ignore the voice and vice of this bind boom boom fly of Skerrit. You see, Dominica does not exist, it is Skerrrit so called Supremo who is all it, but we all kn that he has been this failed leader and Prime Minister and why? Well, he has cause our agriculture and revenue to go away and have spent more time flying over the damn place looking for money. As a result he ignored one of our main revenue that was created over years, the banana industry. Therefore these farmers worked hard, toil the soil, scarified their time and went on working hard while they do so to earn decent money from their toil and sweat. Fake Skerrit and his blind acolytes outshine Skerrit into passport sales that up to this today we need an audit and report of the sales of our passports and where is the investment that suppose to make a difference. We worked hard within the ministry to assist government in serous planning to elevate our Dominica, Skerrit killed it. Skerrit failed he must Go.

If I were you I would fix my mouth and my tongue before I open my mouth. 18 to 3, what more do you need?

      • Ibo France
        January 11, 2020

18 to 3 was due primarily to corrupt practices at the electoral office. Their stubborn refusal to implement sensible and fair electoral reforms to create a level playing field. CORRUPTION was solely responsible for that outcome. Corrupt money was used to import thousands to skew the results. They win elections by fraudulent means but the country still remains at the bottom position in the Eastern Caribbean. Schools, police stations, health centers, hospitals, feeder and ordinary roads, many public edifices are in a dilapidated condition or an unusable state. Civil and public servants take home salaries and wages are deplorable. Modernity has escaped Dominica. Most of the OECS independent territories get to enjoy international cricket, track & field, football at night, CPL live and lively. Dominicans are deprived of all these poodles’. Living in Dominica is like living in the unenlightened, dark ages. Where leadership and common sense is lacking the people suffer immensely.
