The Commonwealth of Dominica continues to shine globally as our land of beauty stands out in the March, 2023 edition of the Urban Sentinel Magazine.
Dominica’s very own Keisha Reifer-Esprit, beautifully graces the cover of this month’s edition of the USA-based magazine. Keisha’s father is Dominican and she proudly tells DNO, “I’m a legal Dominican citizen.” Keisha’s story was written by Dr. Yomi Garnett, a world class Ghostwriter, Biographer, Manuscript Editor and Grant writer. An avid supporter and promoter of Dominica, the land of many rivers, Keisha ensures that she sings the praises of Dominica through her radio show and whenever the opportunity presents itself, to assist the country. Through the very first undertaking of her international recruitment business initiative, a student-athlete from Commonwealth of Dominica received a scholarship to study in the United States. Keisha is a former female track & field pioneer who broke and set Coleridge and Parry School records in Barbados. She is also a former Collegiate and International track medalist. She is an author, educator, host of “The Esprit Radio Show”, inspirational speaker, philanthropist and a multipotentialite.
Dominica is also mentioned in the magazine between the storylines of international bodybuilder Franchourt “Bob” Esprit. He is a world class Curacao-based athlete, with a career that spans over four decades. (Esprit’s father, like Keisha’s, is Dominican and Keisha tells us that the two are related). The international star is the owner of the “Bob Esprit Gym” located in Curacao. Mr. International, Mr. Europe and Mr. Holland are just a few of the many titles this Bodybuilder Champion has under his belt. His contributions to society and God-given gifts are impeccable.
The magazine also contains several other Caribbean features which include Floyd Reifer, a Barbadian professional cricketer and former West Indies Cricket Team captain; Alwin Adams, a former Coleridge and Parry School Principal; author and former Barbadian Senator, Mr. Victor Jackman; and a former Coleridge and Parry School Vice Principal, history teacher and author.
Nicole Richardson “Nikki Rich”, a media influencer who is the Oprah Winfrey Network Ambassador and host of the Nikki Rich TV and radio show, CEO of Toni Jenkins Entertainment, Toni Jenkins, and Keith Clizark, a music industry guru and multi-platinum producer, are just a few of the many people who are being featured in the March 2023 edition of the magazine.
Every story inspires individuals in society to pursue their goals and to take their educational opportunities seriously.
Reginald Kearney, the Editor of Urban Sentinel, (www.urbansentinelmagazine.com) continues to take the Magazine to a higher level, highlighting great stories and people.
Dominica will continue to be promoted, and Dominicans featured, in future editions of Urban Sentinel.
