Andrew is an air force Dental Readiness Assurance Program Monitor on the Barksdale Air Force Base which is located in northwest Louisiana. She has been recognized by the KSLA News in Shreveport, Louisiana.
The news story reveals Andrew’s quick progress in her career; she talks about her title and how she has gotten to this position in the US Air Force coming from Dominica, where she grew up.
That was a nice story to read. Thanks DNO.
Congratulations my dear sister , proud to be a Dominican, Congratulations
Many Dominicans have served in and are serving in the US Military going way back. In the 1960’s during the Vietnam war there was 4 men from Dominica who left to served in the US Army, 3 served in Vietnam one was KIA and is interned on Dominica being brought there by the US Army for burial. Dominicans who served in the US military have attained the rank from corporal to Sergeant Major to General. Dominicans also served in the British military in WW1 and WW2. Dominicans have a proud tradition of serving in both the US and British military’s and continue to do so.
Commendations to Sgt. Andrew for her excellence. Individual Dominicans will always do well no matter where they choose to live in this world. They have the natural potential to excel once given the opportunity. Dominica is blessed with the most natural resources in the sub- Caribbean:the most fertile soil; an abundance of rivers and sources of water; green lust vegetation; rear species of fauna and flora and I can continue to enumerate forever. Why then the island so desperately lacks the basic infrastructural developments and lags behind all the other nearby independent territories? The answer is most definitely absence of strategic planning and visionary leadership. The new thrust by the current government seems to be on building hotels. How can this be successful without an international airport? Tourists like hassle free travel not island hopping before they could get to their preferred destination. Dominica is in a mess and only new leadership can turn it around. No question!
What kind of long story dat nah?
Just tell the young lady congratulations and move on. Stuuupes.
