Good Job.. Congrats. We hail from the same community of Fond Cole. May you go on to serve your people well & reap the massive benefits from your newly acquired qualifications.
I congratulate Maureen Deravariere, for making all of us Dominicans proud with her personal achievement. I was listening to WAVS news this morning and I be must say I felt very proud when that news item was reported all the way in Florida, where that station is based. I also want to congratulate Renndy Stevens, for his success, though it was not reported by WAVS. Upon hearing the news of Maureen’s accomplishment a few things came to mind. 1. Will Skerrit put her in job in Da, where she could put her knowledge to work , so she could help herself and Da succeed, or is he going to frustrate her so she could run out? 2. She was only 4 yes when the DLP came in power and no doubt remembers a country on the verge of a breakthrough, with electricity, plans in place for an international airport and sports stadium, a thriving Ross University, agriculture, sports and community spirit very strong only to find out almost 20 yrs later everything is completely opposite, thanks to hurricane Skerrit
Why skerrit has to put her in a job as her first option? You people spend thousands of dollars to study to come back and work for somebody for two dollars? that sounds like laziness. If you get a job fine but why not have the intention of employing your self and creating employment? what was the plan when you decided to take all that money and go to school? was it to come back dependent? Sheesh!
@weekenz you seem to be either a stranger to Dominica or you are a Dominican residing abroad and only visit Dominica during election, and don’t know a thing about DA. Which young person is going to invest a cent in Dominica, in that type of atmosphere Skerrit has created? FYI, many local business places have shut their doors because Skerrit has destroyed everything. Imagine we live in a country where villages and towns are punished by Skerrit if they didn’t vote labor and as a result, if a parlrep in opposition has to do something in his constituency he FIRST has to curse the people that helped him win and then go and then bow his knees to Skerrit. Otherwise even the man’s bakery will suffer as seen with Joseph Isaac. Under Skerrit it’s hard to take a chance with any type of investment!
Congrats!!!! Thank you for making us proud.
Well done, both of them!
Congratulations to both of you.
CONGRATS MAUREEN!!!
