The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development will administer the annual Grade Six National Assessment (G6NA) to 1069 students on May 29th and 30th.
546 females and 523 male will write the exams, which represents a decrease of 84 students as compared to 2013.
498 students come from the Western District with 144 from the Eastern District, 247 from the Northern District and 198 from the Southern District.
The examinations are scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. at 50 centers around the island.
On day 1, students will write Language Arts and Social Studies and Mathematics and Science will be written on day 2. The format remains the same as in previous years, featuring multiple choice papers in all subjects and a written component in Language Arts.
Students are expected to be at the centers by 7:45.
The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development advises parents that they are not allowed at testing centers while the examinations are in progress.
