The Dominica State College will hold its 8th Commencement Exercise on October 20, 2010 at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium at 2:30 p.m.
President of the College Dr. Donald Peters said that “commencement exercise is a long-standing tradition of universities and colleges and it is a day that symbolizes the achievements of the faculty and their graduating students. The college will take that opportunity to celebrate with them”.
The key-note Speaker for the ceremony will be Dominica’s Ambassador to the United Nations and former Minister for Education, His Excellency Vince Henderson.
Over 257 students are expected to participate in the graduation ceremony.
@Unwell: doe check the name man means nothing
@KOKAY THERE: Great comment but bad name.
feature speaker is the Honourable Vince Henderson. I don’t think so, I was just at the Stadium and I heard that it was Sir Professor Hilary Beckles? Whats happening?
Congratulations to all who have successfully done well at the college. I wish them well on their future endeavours.
I really hope that Bachelors, up to Phd will be offered in Dominica really soon in diverse subjects. Too much money is being spent in American and UK universities. These intitutions are getting rich on our account. We need to take the lead in Dominica in education. I feel that the DSC is filled with politics. It is ok to have a political ideology but not at the expense of the greater good of the nation.
Congratulations to all the students of the three faculties and even to those who did not graduate its not the end of the road make this be a boost to you dont make your journey end there.
