She stated that through participation in the school contest the children gained some knowledge about the Crime Stoppers Organization, how it works with the community, media and law enforcement personnel to help prevent crime. She said the information and knowledge acquired will then be passed on to family and friends through daily interactions.
On of the winners, Sentfleben of the Light House Christian Academy said, “I am very excited to win because I knew I did a very good job and I was expecting a good result.”
She said she loves reading and wants to become a doctor.

J. Astaphan and Company and LIME Dominica sponsored over $20,000 worth of Ipads and other tablets for winners.
Congratulations to every one of you. You are smarter today in being acquainted with crimes and how it hurts the victims in various ways.
This is an excellent initiative to teach about crimes from youth and also to avoid it
Crimes also give the perpetrators, once caught, tried and sentenced, a bad name and record for life.
This exercise should be done at least on an annual basis. It could greatly assist in avoiding crimes, those who may have that tendency and by not being diligent during their school years. Now is the time to make them fully aware of this harmful scourge.on society which also gives the country a bad name,
Who knows? Some day it will assist in eradicating crimes.
