BRIDGETOWN, Barbados — Candidates who wrote the Caribbean Examinations Council’s (CXC) May/June 2011 examinations will be able to access their results online.
This is the first time this facility is being made available to candidates; however, CXC has been issuing the results to participating territories via its online registration system (ORS) for the past three years.
“This functionality has taken full account of the issues raised by principals about the need to ensure that students are in full compliance with school regulations and have fulfilled their obligations prior to receipt of results,” explained Susan Giles, senior assistant registrar for examinations administration and security at CXC.
Giles added that “at the same time it meets the Council’s objective of delivering results by the most reliable and expeditious method and in the shortest possible time.”
Candidates wishing to view their results online must use the link http://ors.cxc.org/studentportal. They will enter their 10-digit registration number, last name and date of birth to access their results.
CXC local registrars and principals of schools have the capacity to restrict access to the results from some schools and candidates if they deem it necessary for compliance reasons.
In addition to candidates’ results, CXC has also made the broadsheets, centre statistics and merit lists for schools available to principals via the online registration system (ORS).
Candidates should check the calendar on the CXC website www.cxc.org for the release dates for CAPE, CSEC and CCSLC results.
Dr Didacus Jules, CXC Registrar, praised this development and said this is all in keeping with the strategic vision of making CXC an IT-intelligent organization which leverages ICT for the benefits of its stakeholders.

I am a student who just wrote the CXC ENGLISH Exams at the ST. Mary’s Academy School (SMA) as a Private student, where we were deprived of our time due to the fact that the invigilator came to the EXAMINATION room 30 minutes after the suppose time to begin. However, during the exam there were alot of distractions by the INVIGILATOR and a member of staff of the school over the PA system. Because of the late start we were not able to complete the Exam because our time had been cheated By the INVIGILATOR. There was a young lady sitting next to me when she slapped her hands on the desk when the INVIGILATOR said that there was not much time left. I was FRUSTRATED and ANGRY because i did not finished my EXAM and as a result i lost 35 marks. We do not leave our selves to blame but the INVIGILATOR for cheating our time…
if anybody knws how to get ccslc results tell me now
next year if GOD sspears its mt turn to make my family proud
ITSS has done it this time. Education officials bring out the press release please we are waiting to hear them.

where in this article did any of you read that the results are out? All that the article said is that the results when ready will be accessible online….NOT TODAY!!!
It may just be that your school/center is restricting you from viewing your results. Visit the site again next week

A step to the right direction I say. Wish it was like that during my time.. instead of going back and forth looking down a list posted on some wall.
Dis online thing does not work i have been trying all morning and yet to succeed in viewing my results. Am not pleased with this method.
