How about that other Doctor , Philbert Aaron?

    • July 12, 2017

Just stop. If you don’t like the man or his party that’s your prerogative, but his doctorate is earned academically and real.

Apart from serving his masters and himself very well, what has this person done for anyone? Why should we subject our kids to having to listen to this person who sends the message to our kids –

    serve your masters
    screw your countrymen
let money and position be your God
    stand for nothing at all
lie, lie and lie again for your masters.

Ahh, the man that nearly single-handedly killed our education system. Remember his “Cape is for superheroes” comment? This dude has left 1000s of graduates scrambling for credits (through A Levels) or preventing them from going to top uni’s altogether. But this isn’t about that, he’s going to speak some political diatribe towards the opposition . Vince Henderson: an embarrassment to Dominica in both political and educational aspects

Hello and good afternoon my people. In what subject Mr Henderson holds a Doctorate, I say none. Northern Eastern University is an Online Diploma Mill which was closed down because of fraud . He’s no different than Peter St Jean our alleged Education Minister.

Had you read the piece it would tell you in what Dr. Henderson holds his degree. Plus, Northeaster University is top ranked university in the United States. I’m pretty sure you could not get in. Anyway, learn more about NEU here: https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/northeastern-university-2199
      Or just Google it

No, it is you who should have read the press release properly. It says that Vince Henderson is “a scholar in law and policy”, nothing about a doctorate. He has a J.D. degree, equivalent to the previous B.A (Bachelor of Arts) degree in law. It is not a S.J.D., equivalent to a PH.D. in law. It is both bumptious and presumptuous to give himself the title Dr.

      • July 12, 2017

Titiwi, this is false. The Doctor of Law and Policy degree is not the equivalent to a JD, it’s an academic doctorate.

      • Not a PhD
        July 13, 2017

Henderson’s doctorate is valid. It is from a regionally chartered university and is in the league of a PhD, but is not a PhD. He really should be calling himself ”Mr.” as in the US folks with degrees other than PhD’s who use the title of doctor are generally regarded to be in the league of our own ”Docto” Skerrit of the the Demented University of India.

Vince what are you doing in Washington DC except dress nice? What added value are you brining to Dominica in DC? The answer is a foregone conclusion——nada, zero–nothing- 0.

Go talk talk, talk at the ceremony on July 12. You are from St. Jo–remember Grammacks hit song- ‘parole au bouch ‘

Vince Henderson continues to embarrass us. He is not a doctor, he does not have a Ph.D. but the equivalent of a of an English BA.

    • July 12, 2017

Apparently people here think that if you tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth. But it doesn’t, and his degree is an academic doctorate, full stop.

We wish the students well and that thy continue to excel in the career and job prospects. I am hoping that the all move on in their respective studies and a career goals and that one subject of interest that hey should pursue is political science, good governance, and transparency to take this corrupt country under this corrupt Labour leader to a stable country of decency for our up coming young people. Those delivering messages at this ceremony are not role models and we wish that they too pursue courses in good government and not how to corrupt a poor small island and bring ot to poverty.
I just cannott imagine what hose speakers other than the valectorian, will have to say after their long link and questionable positions which has tainted and tarnish our island.
You guys are not role models and I urge all graduating students to stay focus and move on to higher heights. Stay away from these bunch of inept so called speakers. The graduation is yours.
