First Domestic Insurance Company grants four new scholarships to students

Roseau, Dominica –August 17, 2011…… The First Domestic Insurance Company Ltd on August 11, 2011 granted four new scholarships to eligible students of policy holders with policies in good order. This brings the total number of scholars supported by the Company to nine.

The recipients this year are T’keyah Jno. Baptiste who will be attending the Saint Martin Secondary School, Kadeema N. Jean the Portsmouth Secondary School and Marlena Junkere the Wesley High School. Lianne Catin received the staff scholarship on behalf of her daughter who will be commencing primary school in September. Scholarships were granted based on merit and need.

Our list of scholarship holders are:

•    Alisha Bazil – SDA
•    Chard Dennis – SMA
•    T’keyah Jno. Baptiste – SMS
•    Kadeema N. Jean – PSS

•    Jeannille Etinoffe – CPS

    Excellent gesture from a local company. Unlike other pariah businesses, First Domestic invests in today’s youth whom will be the future leaders our nation.
