IN PICTURES: Carnival Princess hosts initiative to assist less fortunate

Carnival Princess, Rayne Benjamin, has hosted an initiative to donate items to CHANCES, a place of safety for children.

During the initiative, every child at her school, the Convent Prep, was asked to bring in two food items.

Ava Roach received the items on behalf of CHANCES.

Also, the Princess made a donation of toys to Clear Harbour Cares Committee for the hosting of their Easter hunt event which took place last Saturday. Kerwin Jno Baptiste received the donation of toys on behalf of the Clear Harbour Cares Committee.

They form part of a few projects to be undertaken by the Princess during her reign.

    Wow really nice. I may be wrong, but I think this is the first time I have seen a Carnival princess take on an initiative during her reign. Way to go Rayne!
