On Monday, April 18, 2016, Mr. Dexter Newton of the North American Association for the Advancement of La Plaine, (NAAAL), presented the principal and staff of the Jones Beaupierre School with a consignment of school supplies to help further the education of the children of the community.
NAAAL was established just over two years ago in New Jersey, USA, with a mission to make La Plaine the most desirable residential village in the country by providing assistance to the LaPlaine community with emphasis on education, health, sports, social and environmental services.
Mr. Newton noted that the gift was in keeping with the goal of the organization, which is to elevate La Plaine (as a community) by addressing its needs, embarking on projects and helping the community to reach its highest potential. In addition, he stressed the importance of education as a foundation on which to build the community and noted that one of the first initiatives undertaken by NAAAL is in support of education.
On behalf of the students and staff, the principal, Mrs. Stephenson, thanked Mr. Newton for the thoughtfulness of NAAAL and urged the students to make the best of what was given and to appreciate the generosity of those making the sacrifice.
Great job NAAAL … Blessed are the hands that giveth … The community really needs this and more …. those who can please say a prayer
We will continue to contribute
Great initiative by NAAAL! Many benefited from the excellent education received from the LaPlaine school and it is definitely a blessing when we are able to give back to the community and encourage the youth to strive for the highest!

great work Mr. Dexter Newton, education is the foundation………… god blessings
This is a great endeavor… any and all assistance is vital. Even the basics we take for granted from time to time can mean a lot to a child. Bless…
Wonderful Dexter and team. For years now I have been practicing the idea of impacting our nation from abroad by refusing to seat on the sidelines and complain about what’s wrong with Government, Politicians, Leaders etc.but instead engaging in supporting our educators and community activists through similar efforts. Love it.
