I must commend this Magistrate on his proactive approach to curtail youth violence and restore a semblance of respect for oneself, the community, the nation and by extension the world. The bible declares that a prophet is never honored in his own land; however, actions such as these should be highly appreciated and encouraged.

We have a tendency to be highly critical of our people, especially those in positions of authority, and we should, nevertheless when someone attempts to not only talk the talk but walk the walk that individual should be commended. Crime fighting is not a spectator sport, if we want to truly get a hold on juvenile crime we should start from the time they are babies. Instill in them the virtues of being honest, respectful, ambitious, hard working and fearful of God. When children, in their stubbornness do not respect the authority figures at home, then we are bound to have a multitude of problems.

This problem is multi-layered and one seminar or round table is not enough but a step in the right direction. Let us return to the “it takes a village mentality” and cooperate with the authorities to assist our young people and prevent chaotic and destructive behavior.

God bless you Your Worship and my prayer is that you are not deterred, distracted or discouraged, you may not see the immediate results now, but like Appolus plant, Paul will water and Christ will give the increase.

God bless the Commonwealth of Dominica.

When you are up to the task and take your job seriously, sometimes the ones to support you are the ones who derails you, like your colleages etc.
I love this young magistrate approach, And I believe Dominicans LOVE his approach to crime too, ESPECIALLY the patriotic ones. Not all that fly our flags on flag day are patriotic.
Young man, you have a VISION, and not everyone will support you but The Heavenly Father will give you strength and Courage so that you will be SUCCESSFUL.

God Bless you, You are a GREAT DOMINICAN!!!!

Once again, his Honor has stepped into the fray to try arrest the rising crime wave among the youth of Dominica – praises to him. The true test of this man’s effort will only be fruitful if we – all of us – do not stand on the side, but jump right in with him with our thoughts and hands and do our part in making his and all our efforts not go in vain.

Excellent! No doubt all the haters (fellow magistrates, barristers, lawyers) will come up with some negative BS to try and derail the mans efforts. Perhaps someone should give them a pep talk too to try and educate them as a lot of them carry on in a way that makes one think that they are on the payroll of of these criminals!!

Yes call a spade a spade. The best way for Dominica to remain sweet is to first clean up it’s judicial system and root out all criminals whatever uniform, suit or frock they may wear. A good purge and some education will make Her live up to Her name ‘Tall is Her Body’

    Peace.

I believe it is time for magistrate Tiyani Behanzin to be made the Chief Magistrate, he is more interested in the youth and the criminal elements in Dominica, by his direct interaction with them at all levels through talks and otherwise. Chairperson of the DA Bar Association and the Min of Legal Affairs do not leave the suggestion for too long.

Hope you can get through. Crime is everywhere but home is TOO SMALL to have embraced so many useless crimes. Some people blame the parents; in some cases maybe, the parents are not to be blamed because the kids have their minds made up.
