More schools to reopen for new term

schoolThe Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development announces that more schools will reopen following the restoration of water to these facilities.

The majority of schools across  the island opened on Monday (today) but many remained closed, the after effect of Tropical Storm Erika.

Dates for reopening of the other schools are below.

Newtown Primary School

The following schools will remain closed until further notice.

Convent Prep
Massacre Primary School
Berean Christian Academy
Roseau Primary School
Campbell Primary School
Calibishie Primary School
Colihaut Primary School
Dublanc Primary School
Woodfordhill Primary School
Wesley Primary School
Pichelin Primary School
Petite Savanne Primary
Jones Beaupierre Primary School
North East Comprehensive School

 

 

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development continues to work with the Dominica Water and Sewerage Company (DOWASCO) and other partners to provide water to all our schools.

Parents are reminded to provide their children with drinking water.
