OAS scholarship announcement

The Government of Dominica is now receiving applications for the Organization of American States (OAS) Regular Academic Scholarship Program for the pursuit of Master’s Degrees, Doctoral Degrees, Research leading to a degree, and last two years of undergraduate/Bachelor’s Degree studies.

All Applications must be submitted online AND through Ms. Lisa Valmond at the Ministry of Finance and Planning, 5th Floor, Financial Centre, Roseau Dominica.

The deadline for submission of applications is MARCH 16th 2012.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

•    OAS Academic Scholarships are awarded for full-time studies at a university or higher learning educational institution in an OAS Member State with the exception of the applicant’s sponsoring country.
•    OAS Academic Scholarships are awarded to complete bachelor’s degrees, undertake graduate studies (Master’s or Doctorate degree) and/or graduate research that lead to a degree at a university in an OAS Member State. Studies may be carried out on-site, online, or a combination of both.
•    OAS Academic Scholarships are awarded for a maximum of two academic years.
•    Applicants must agree to return to reside in the sponsoring country for a period of no less than twenty-four (24) months after completing the program of study covered by the OAS scholarship.

    There is a lot of misleading information here. DNO get you’ll information right.

    The name to submit the application to is incorrect, as well as the deadline.

    Does not matter how many applications they get, it will still go to those that support the labour party, go figure, in the end it will all be about cronyism and nepotism
