Over 1,000 students to sit Grade Six National Assessment

examsOne thousand, one hundred and fifty-five (1155) students will sit the Grade Six National Assessment on Thursday May 23rd and Friday May 24th, 2013.

Six hundred and five of the candidates are boys and 550 are girls.

The examinations begin at 8:00 a.m. at 50 centres around the island.

On day 1, candidates will write the Language 1 and 2 and Social Studies exams and on day 2, Mathematics and Science.

Language 2 is a composition paper. All other exams will be presented in the multiple choice format.

The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development advises all parents that students should be at the exam centre no later than 7:45 a.m.

    My sister is also one of them.I just want to bless and wish everyone else doing common Entrance good luck and i hope they do well.I also want to wish that my sister does well too. Love you sis hope u do well and may the god bless u ad u mind. :-D :) :-P :mrgreen:

      uh that number of students (who are all in the sixth grade ONLY btw) seems quite relative to Dominica’s population size. What I find surprising is that more boys are doing the assessments than girls; most times it’s the other way around.

    God’s guidance on all the children. Take it easy, say a little pray before your exam. Take a deep breath take your time and read your instructions properly. Don’t be over anxious, you’ll be ok. If you not sure of an answer don’t waste time on it skip it and move to the next one, however if you have time return to it. Try to go over your answers before you give up the paper.
