In observation of the 10th Anniversary of the signing of the Petro Caribe Agreement, preschool students from across the country were invited to the Waitukubuli Fuel Storage and Distribution plant in Jimmit as a way to increase their knowledge of what Petro Caribe is all about.

In an effort to raise public awareness and to highlight the accomplishments of Petro Caribe in Dominica the students were taken on a brief tour of the facility, wearing hard hats and safety gear, sparking their interest and excitement.

Along the tour, the staff at PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd. engaged the students in active learning on the site. The inquisitive minds, interested in how the fuel got into the tank asked all sorts of questions. The preschoolers were also briefed on the safety measures of the plant.

PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd. Sales and Marketing Manager, Denise Charles says, “Here at PDV Caribe Dominica Ltd, we pride ourselves on the quality of our work and in ensuring that even the smallest people in our society understands the significant impact PDV Caribe has made on the country.”

At the close of the tour, the students were taken to the conference room for revision and brief Q&A on what they learned.
