The PM should have been there at the rally but the opposition leader should have been there too, all of them should show an interest in this for the children because it’s the pride of our country, shame on the PM and Linton for not being there, but great job Portsmouth on organizing without them.

Excellent pictures. It is wonderful to see the children in their school uniform performing the “match past.” They are serious about performing it. Well disciplined. Reminds me of those years at school.

Congratulations to the Portsmouth town council for organizing such activity. I think it was a very good event . However it’s a shame that neither the prime minister nor his cabinet colleagues could not be present. The government representatives always have an excuse for not participating in the northern youth rally and that very shameful. Come on the north is part of Dominica too. On another note come on town council stop giving the children plain certificates and calling them awards. How many children reach their schools with thse certificates? Their are too many cheap and lovely trophies on line. Oder some for next year.

The North should continue with that tradition do not send the children to Roseau any more everything can be done Portsmouth.

I agree with you, not one year the PM will come to a school Rally in Portsmouth so disappointing. Big up to Town Council especially Miss Cognet who have been doing a fabulous job over the years.

It would be great if next year you sponsor at least 3 awards. that will indeed help. it is time we start taking our town in hand and make it be what we want it to be.
