Rotaract Club of Roseau hosts spelling bee competition

Once again, the Rotaract Club of Roseau will be hosting the 5th annual Haliborange/Rotaract Spelling Bee competition.

In our quest to continue serving the people, we embark on this event as it brings cheerfulness and optimism and allows us to promote literacy and build confidence among our Grade 5 students.

The competition will be hosted in three segments in the month of October; the 1st, with the preliminary, then on the 8th with the Semi-Finals and ending on the 15th with the Finals at the Arawak House of Culture. The winner of the local Competition will move on to the Regional’s which will be held on the 13th of November in the island of St. Kitts.

We would really like the support of the schools on such an important and impactful venture and we are asking them to come out with their students to the event.

We will be rewarding amazing prices to the participating students. Also, the school representing the winner of this year competition will be receiving an incredible prize.

It is indeed costly to pull off such an event; therefore we would like to thank everyone who has come on board with us to execute this successful competition. We urge other businesses to join in as well; the future is in the hands of our young ones.
