The Dominica Students Association in Trinidad and Tobago (DOMSATT) has been quite active in promoting Dominica in the twin island republic.
Throughout the semester the association has been involved in a number of activities which includes showcasing Dominica’s culture at Caribbean Village held during Orientation Week, Taste UWI where Dominica’s dishes were highlighted and many more.
The Independence season was celebrated with a creole breakfast and lunch sale, Independence Mass and was closed with a flag raising ceremony.
The purpose of DOMSATT is to:
-Promote the welfare of Dominican students at various Institutions of Higher Learning in Trinidad
-Organize and formulate programmes which expose and highlight Dominican Customs and culture; and
-Promote and maintain good relations among Dominican students, as well as students of other territories and the wider Trinidadian community.
Photos highlight some of the activities of DOMSATT through the semester.
