2010 CITP the most successful – Baptiste

Baptiste

The 8th LIME Creole in the Park (CITP) is being hailed as “one of the most successful editions” of the event by LIME Dominica’s General Manager Jeffery Baptiste.

“We are constantly improving,” Baptiste said at a meeting with the press on Monday.

Baptiste said that the 2010 edition was not just another CITP but likely the most impressive he has seen from its inception.

“Eighteen months ago LIME promised more and we had delivered in a very tangible way,” Baptiste said.

The 2010 LIME Creole in the Park ran from Oct. 26-28 in the Botanical Gardens in Roseau.

The event featured headline international entertainment performances from Queen Ifrika and Peter Ram, and local acts like the Fanatik Band and WCK among others.

I think the time has come, to propose to LIME the construction of an Amphitheater in that section of the gardens. The open air theater can also be use during the cruise season to show case Dominicans talent. Now let the discussion begin!

Oh yeh I love LIME Creole in the Park, its a great event that encourages good clean socializing among peers, (except for those by the bamboo house) I would like to suggest that LIMES applies to the officials of the Gardens to extend the portion of the Gardens that is used, it has clearly become too small and crowded. Hats of to LIME for this event. I look forward to next year’s Creole in The Park.
