Sadly the Press should have known that Ali Campbell doesnt get Royaltises from UB40 since he quit the Band in Jan 2008..

So basically he doesnt have ownership rights to do stuff from UB40 as the band still plays and the rights belong to UB40 and not Ali Campbell.

So all those limitations are the facts etc…
But again what lacks with Press locally some dont research artist background and current data etc…so they would have being aware of those things… in terms of coverage etc…

Ali Campbell….well he played out his contract from last year, teleprompter and all. But what a truly miserable performance. Any time you have photographers sitting down with their back to the stage chatting, things are not going well. His band looked for the most part bored and uninspired, and he dictated no photos from directly in front of the stage, only from the side. Then did no press call afterwards stating “his rights were violated”. Sorry Digicel, money wasted there… Next year Santana?

First Things first. WCK was paid by Lime for their perfomance.. After you have Performed, you do not need to remain Backstage, neither do you have Access to the People’s VIP Booth.
This is nothing about being recognised for 25 yrs. this is not the same WCK of 25 yrs ago. So get a grip, and tell these young men to act professional.
