This will be my first time visiting Dominica! And I will be there for Carnival. What time of day does the costume parade start? I don’t want to miss it.

Could someone PLEASE tell me, Is there a website[www.dominicacarinval.com] where one could obtain carnival information for 2012? If our carnival is over is to go anywhere why is it not being marketed even with a simple thing like a website? The last website was in 2010 with Discover Dominica doing a syndicate website/link.
My second question is, Why was Carnival City opened so early if there is going to be a gap in activities? Isn’t there a cost to Stage Rental, Lighting, Security etc.? How are we to attract people to visit Dominica and Dominica for carnival if we cannot sustain loaded programme which would see people/visitor coming back for MORE?

You have indeed been out for a while lol. Harlem Plaza is an entertainment spot next to the Newtown field. So yes, you can go to the field and just follow the music…or the nice ppl of Newtown will direct you :) Enjoy Mas 2k12!!!!
