Dominica’s dancehall/reggae artiste ColtonT has become the only Dominican artiste to team up with one of the big names in the Jamaica music industry, Cashflow Records.
ColtonT’s latest single “Sweet” is featured on Cashflow Records just released ‘Sun Tan Riddim Part Two.’
“It feels good to be the first Dominican artiste to be featured on a Jamaican ‘riddim.’ As I always say, the work has just begun. I just want to remain humble and focus on my goals,” he said.
‘Sun Tan Riddim Part One’ was released on June 2012 with 5 songs which features artistes such as Xtreme, Charly Black, Demarco, Stein and Khago.
The high demand from fans for more songs of the type of rhythm featured in the release prompted Cashflow to release part two.
‘Sun Tan Riddim Part Two’ features artistes such Prince Pin, ColtonT, Strappa, Haskelli, Mad Head ft. Ding Dong and Gwarren.

Excellent music Colton. Dominican mixed with Jamaican- yeah! Good combo. Love it. Continue doing your thing my boy. Ignore the pull-you-down Dominicans
why the negative people dont shut the hell up??????? stupes good job coltyyyyy. perfect song
Big tune
I am proud of my Dominican youth, Colton is doing very good in the music bsiness, i am happy for him. All this negativity has to stop!!
Seriously, those who say he needs to get a life, You are the one sittin on ur computer all day looking for sumtn bad to say about ColtonT, he gettin recognition that can put D/A on top, who da hell are you?? I hope u have a job. And those who hav probz with his ”accent” that is his style, so free up on de man. smh
Dominicans, it would feel better to say nice things about someone, if you have nothing against them. What have the young man done to be torn up like this by the haters? There are great Dominican musicians outside of Dominica doing great,if they were in Dominica they would have been history already.Every big star started small,i just don’t see the need for the negative vibes.
Man Colton, you should look to get out there and fend for yourself, strangers will appreciate you better. If is like a ja singer you choose to sing , go for it.
some of thoes who want to creticise your accent, they in there own country, yanking for tourist when tourist come here, sometimes the tourist doe even understand English,i doe see with them.
Good work my youte, the sky is the limit, keep working on your stuff, don’t quite and don’t waste time, keep your feet on the ground, your day will come.
Colton T needs to get a life. Get a job and realise that this music thing isn’t doing much for him. I think this has gone up to his head. Maybe he likes the attention he gets from dem likkle girls but we will see how that goes. I like the track. It’s great but dude…get a real job…a life…
man leave d boy be…u never had dreams…maybe u failed to realise that he might just be chasing his..how about u support a young man who is trying something with his life instead of riding bike and shooting guns
You seem hurt and jealous of him, are you???
Colton T has fans now, he has a CAREER, and its MUSIC. Music is his life. He has worked before but now he is making money through music, yuh mad bruh?? get a life and leave him alone. smh
i you should get a real job and stop being an observer.observing and being a bad critic doesn’t get you money now does it?? don’t discourage the yute..wish him best with his goal…you are following you goals being a cunt..let him follow his
OMG Colty gotz a life bt u need to because this kid could do anything he wants graduated from SMA and pursued biology and economic in @ dsc. the boy got talent n u need to recognize..
Well well jealousy is the seed of destruction. If he was at the street corner selling drugs, smoking weed by d bay or running Gwada or SM and being in jahdam (excuse my french) hands you would be in jubilation right? Give the man a break. For ambition, effort, perseverance and belief in himself he gets an A in my court. I blight your negative comment. He will by God’s design attain his goals. Look to attain yours. Then again such apparent resentment your hold may stem from a disappointed and wasted life. Before you decide to tear down your neighbor think about yourself and try to live a life dat will earn you a badge of honor. Go Colton go. The same tongue that say nay today will say yeah tomorrow. I don’t know Colton T but am impressed by him. Keep on trucking. You are a global citizens yank, use slang, talk in tongues if you want but keep bringing the lyrics on. Craft your art Colton and do you. Cause who Jah bless, d universe can never curse. Smh at many Dominicans and the jealousy factor.
Respect Colton-T all in support hun du ur thing

To clarify Smokie cut and shaney have been featured on other riddims, not Chiney Flava

LOLOL nice oneeee
so all Jamaicans have they accent all where they go all over the world, they dont imitate anyone but a Dominican have to put on a Jamaican accent to make music?
i agree with you one hundred percent.
AGREED!!!!
I know of a few Dominicans in Canada, many of hem women them with them Jamaican men, man when you hear them talk man one would think that they are Jamaicans only when ask they are Dominicans
True say Jamaicans would not and will not change their accent for nothing for which they are proud of, i am wondering why some Dominicans are forgetting theirs and taking up others
tru ting
And Your Point Being ???? stps
@ not hating let’s put things in perspective. Different artists decide what genre of music they want to be associated with and they immerse themselves in the music of that genre, so if this dude decides it’s reggae/dancehall that’s his thing then he has to cater to that fan base!!! He can’t be a reggae artist and sing kokoy! You feel me.
It’s like little girls growing up and wanting to sing like Mahalia Jackson or Maria Carey. They blend their voice to sound like the artist. Nothing wrong with what the youth is doing.
No dear. I’ve been hearing this kind of comment for a while and must say what I know from my observations. When Jamaicans around their kind they talk their patois but you catch them on the job take a step back observer and listen them talk to the white supervisor, director or Vice President they suddenly conveniently Yankee. Better yet go live in a state where there population is real low and you will see if they Jamaican or fresh water Yankee. Don’t believe the hype.
Col T is great, great voice, very talented, but too much of that bloody JA talk.
congrats colty…always knew u wudda make it big…nuff respect
The further he gets the better for Dominica and its music talent in general. Big up Colton, you got what it takes to excel, keep on pushing the barriers.
Wicked tune my boy colton……. Looking forward to the next and the next and the next…….keep em coming…..Bless
big up wish u well in the future and i hope u make it big in the jamaican music
