Telecommunications company, LIME, has announced that Eirdrynton “Dj Mystic” James is now its new ambassador.
LIME General Manager, Jeffrey Baptiste made the announcement on Friday.
Dj Mystic who worked with LIME’s main competitor, Digicel, for eight years as their promoter told the media that the move marked “a significant mile stone in my life and career.”
“I realized that after eight years, I recognized an opportunity for growth, development and of course, being part of a project that want to take Dominica onto the next level,” he said.
“Formally I made DIGICEL know that I no longer will be with them, June month end, you know with business there is a protocol so I followed the protocol and here we are now,” he explained.
The popular Dj believes he made the right decision and said he is confident his fans won’t be upset with that move.
“I don’t think my fans will be to upset with me for that,” he stated. “Time will tell, they will join me, they will hear me, they will see me, and they will understand.”
Dj Mystic wished his former employers at DIGICEL well.
“I had eight wonderful years over there, I learnt a lot and there were moments I will cherish forever,” he remarked.
Meanwhile LIME’s general manager, Jeffrey Baptiste, in introducing the new ambassador, said the company is presenting a very patriotic Dominican, who is at the top of the line with respect to his profession in Dominica.
“Someone who has the ability to influence and to guide the thinking of our population, particularly the youth in terms of where they should commit their energies and their focus, and that individual has decided that he wants to tell that story, but tell that story and influence lives and transform lives, but do it on the same side with LIME,” Baptiste noted.

I understand this is a business decision and apparent opportunity, of which anyone should take advantage when the it presents itself. But to even allude as to whether his fans may be upset with him, leaves one to wonder what is really in the dark.
Did LIME not sit with Mystic and advise him about his statement to the public ? He should have just left this statement out completely.

Lime is just not original. For a company that has been in Dominica long before Digicel, they copy everything from Digicel. Lime make your mark, lead not follow.
