DNO viewers to pay less for live streaming of calypso tents.

Persons who wish to watch live streaming of the Stardom calypso tent on DNO this evening can now do so for a reduced price of US$5.99.

Organizers of both Stardom and Mas Camp tents have agreed to reduce the subscription for the streaming of their regular tents to US$5.99 per event. However, subscribers will have to pay US$9.99 for the camp finales, Stardom’s “King of The Tent” and Mas Camp’s “Champ of the Camp”.

The decision was taken today following requests from viewers to DNO and ComeSee TV. The two websites are collaborating in bringing live streaming of major carnival events including the calypso tents and the Dominica Calypso Association-organized events.

The fee for the quarter final and semi-final of the Calypso Monarch competition will be US9.99 while those wishing to see the final will have to pay US19.99.

However, for those who are unable to attend the Stardom Tent in person tonight,  you can get access to live streaming on DNO for just US5.99.

The show begins at 8.00pm EST and subscribers will be able to register from 7.30pm.

did anyone view the show? How was the quality?

It was very disappointing last night. While Observer was singing the site froze and the show ended and we never get to see the performances of Hunter and Wok Sok. This was not a way to end. I paid to see everything. I will not subscribe anymore. I will just wait and when I get to Dominica I will go the shows. What I see when I get there is fine but no more streaming for me.

Must take the opportunity to commend the effort. It shows that Tim and company are thinking out of the box.

Some people do not have the option of attending because they live abroad or in the out districts where it is difficult to get transportation. If you can go, pay your money and go…you don’t have to pay for the streaming.
