Roseau, Dominica – (June 2, 2016) Breve, Dominica’s popular Jazz band will perform in Guadeloupe this weekend.
The band accompanied Cameron Pierre on stage at the 7th Dominica’s Jazz ‘n Creole festival which was held on May 15, 2016. The band impressed a patron at the festival, which resulted in an invitation to perform in Guadeloupe. Breve also performed at three of the fringe events organized for the 2016 Jazz ‘n Creole festival.
The band will perform its Caribbean jazz fusion repertoire in a concert at the Parad’est Village in Petit Bourg on Saturday June 4, 2016. The band comprises jazz and gospel bassist Gomez Drigo, Caribbean soul/fusion drummer and composer Kenrick Lawrence, Finnish wind instrument guru Jussi Paavola, guitarist Marxian Smith, singer/songwriter Jade Leatham and keyboardist Leon St. Jean.
The group is expected to be interviewed by several media houses including ATV, Alize TV, Caraibe Creole News, France Antilles, News Antilles and Radio Caraibes Internationale (RCI).
Breve has performed at the 2014 edition of the World Creole Music Festival, 2014 Jazz ‘n Creole, Nature Island Literary Festival, Nature Island Food and Drink Festival, 2015 Jazz ‘n Creole Fringe Event, 2016 Jazz ‘n Creole Fringe events and 2016 Jazz ‘n Creole.

I just love this band……..I am confident this is just the beginning for them………..these musicians are super talented and have written several great songs. I await the album and I cant wait to to see them be successful internationally.
