Soca artiste, Marsha Augustine, has dropped her new song entitled “No Worries” off the Day Dream Riddim, which was produced by Krishna Dada Lawrence.
The DayDream Riddim is a fusion of vintage style Soca with the percussions and drumming, the instrumentation’s rhythmic and tonal balancing of Bouyon and Modern day Pop culture. The synth and acoustic guitar strumming add stability to the structure which creates the ambiance for the construction of various vocal flavors from Ragga to Sweet Groovy that compliments the riddim.
The Riddim was given the name “Da Dream” because of the smooth and enchanting musical composition and arrangement. This Caribbean musical mixture captures the essence of Soca in its entirety and should be enjoyed by soca lovers worldwide.
This song directly speaks to taking a break off everyday life struggles to be appreciative of whatever you may have.
As one of the newest artistes under Island Network Inc’s management, Marsha plans to use her work ethic to generate new music with the ultimate goal of enlarging her fan base.
Listen to the song below.
You accurately do not know anything around pdf.
This is a good song. It can be better. The track is over produce and she has a nice voice. let her natural voice be that on the track without all that autotune etc. anyways
Blessing for Dominica
Congratulation
Nice
this sounds great and I think we need to support our local artiste instead of people from the other countries.
I am not against the soca art form, but Gordon must be having belly aches and gripes that his own people do not recognize the culture that he developed for the musical independence of his own country,a sound he created from the same calypso beat,of which soca stems from, what a waste of struggles in Guadeloupe all these years for an ungrateful people, but I guess when it’s political the hypocrits jump out by the dozens,as it was in the world creole honor thing.wow
The irony is that she might just be working with Gordon but your narrow minded self could not refrain from commenting negatively. Why do we like to place ourselves in a box? What if this young artist has a strategy which will eventually put Dominica on the map? It baffles me how we always put down our own in the name of patriotism. Let us uplift one another. I say well done Marsha, Iam hoping to hear great music from you in the future. You have what it takes!
well call me ugly if you like,i am a respectable fan of cadence music and I m very proud it’s my own,but you all have so many political agendas, that is only when it suits you all, you all give any support
If this song was sung by a Trinidadian artist I would have said I did not like it and that it did nothing for me. But because the lady is Dominican, I will say nothing bad about it.
You just did……..
Yeah!!!!! Congrats Marshie!!! Tanty is so proud of you! Tonight I will take a little wine we!
it would be better with less or no auto-tune…
Everyone uses autotunes! Beyonce said so
Not a soca fan..But I agree this sounds good.. Good vocals and lyrics
Same olé
She looks like Michael Jackson HeHe
Are you crazy??? stupes
Good tune………but in my honest Opinion there is no originality in this song. No WOW factor nothing unique. the production is okay not the best, the crash is just too loud in the Mix. But hey is a move in the Right Direction……Keep it up Marsha Consistency is key you should be preparing your next single right now.
Excellent piece of work, with a rich musical foundation acting as the launch pad for instrument and vocal versatilities, which Marsha nails very well.
Good luck my girl – you definitely have a bright musical future.
Very nice song ,the vocals goes sweet with the beat .. big up Dada Lawrence and the entire team , keep up the good work
Congrats
Very good voice and lyrics are also good. Dominica’s rising star! Good job Marsha!
As far as Soca goes this is pretty good.
Think that’s the best vocals I’ve heard coming out of DA?
With the right team you can go far!! Keep doing yur ting girl!!!
Nice work
