The young Dominican who took a leap of faith and held a rap concert in Dominica for the first time has hailed it a major success.

Klass Money who has been living in Miami for over 11 years and has not been to the island for 17 years,  returned home last week to hold a concert at the Icebox in Roseau.

Klass Money, whose real name is Jefferson Scotland, told DNO that the experience was “second to none”.

“The concert was a hit. I said It was going to be a movie and that’s what it was. We went until 4am and the people really turned out to support me. There were bottle giveaways. People of every walk of life attended the event and that meant a lot to me” he said.

But apart from just the concert, the rapper said he was met with love and kindness while on the island.

“The people really appreciated me. Those I did not see for a long time. Some people i recognized instantly. I was happy to be home” he added.

While in Dominica, Klass Money also visited some of the tourist sites and used the opportunity to shoot a video as well.

He says he will be putting Dominica on his travel list every year and would like to give back to the community especially in the field of music and sports.

Klass Money and his engineer left Dominica on Monday.

They did say ” has not been to the island for 17 years”. That would mean from 99 to now. He could have lived in another state for 6 years then moved to Miami where he lived for 11 years. Come on man read properly. lol
