Local band, ‘First Serenade Band,’ released its 14th CD album recently, entitled ‘Serenade and Friends.’
It was released to coincide with Mas Dominique 2016, and diverse album portraying the versatility of the band.
The album comprises of four different genres of music: Calypso, Cadence, Bouyon, and Country, thus catering for the varied taste of a diverse audience.
It is the collaborative effort of many of Dominica´s talented musicians who worked alongside the First Serenade.
On vocals Philip Hosford, Murphy Jno Jules (Sye), Rhamadin Philip, Elisha Benoit, Clement Jno-Baptiste (Bambi), and on alto saxophone Mr. Cameron Douglas.
This album is a music collectors must have item.
The album was recorded by Adrien Mitchell (Archie), and was mastered by Dion Henderson. It was produced by Josephine Wilson and the First Serenade Band.
The First Serenade Band thanks its many fans and sponsors for being the driving force which propelled it to produce this album, and only wishes that this album brings musical contentment to its listening audience.
