She continued, “I appreciate the parents and chaperones of the contestants who are very dedicated and helpful towards making this show a reality, also to the members of the Youth in Action and Scott’s Head Young Generations as well with their assistance.”

According to her, the main aim of the show is to encourage and maintain high self-esteem, confidence, and most importantly to focus on keeping the country’s environment clean and green during the ending of 2016 and the beginning of New Year 2017.

Jno Lewis went on to say that the show which is an annual event was cancelled last year due to the passage of Tropical Storm Erika.

She encouraged everyone to attend the show, “because it is a show no one wants to miss.”

Jno Lewis thanked all the sponsors who came on board to make the show possible and the MP of Soufriere, Denise Charles for her continuous support.

“Compared to the last show sponsors came on board very early,” she revealed.

“We are still looking for more sponsorship,” she added.

The pageant which is organized by the St. Mark’s Youth in Action group and assisted by the Scott’s Head Young Generations Youth Group will take place from 5:00PM at the Scott’s Head Government School.

Why the child stomach outside. Its a princess show. Not a queen show. Cover the child up.

I detest the adult-nature of the outfits which these pre-kids were given as shown above. Navel exposed, too tight fitting pants and knee high skirts are all unacceptable. This is a dangerous trend for many of our jr pageants whether national , school or village and all you organisers must discourage such dressings. We know how sexually predatory we have become. Its like we taking these issues for some e………ing joke as more of our young girls are being sexually abused even by so called ‘ respectable persons ‘ in Da.

I will always applaud the UWP on its commitment to protect our youth and nation from sexual and other abuses; even if it means paying the ultimate political price in any constituency. In the soonist of times The people will finally understand our party’s principled stance. Unreserved I eternally stand by our one and only leader Hon Linton; our next PM. We are even more aware than ever before of the destructive tendencies of the ‘ Political .Good luck girls and…

Beautiful girls. Good luck you can do it.

On the other hand maybe because I am not a fan of lipstick I would prefer to see lip gloss on the girls instead of lipstick.

DNO I have a bone to pick with you! Seeing that the term ‘young lady’ is often used by adults to refer to girls often in anger, maybe you should address them as “young girls” instead of “young ladies”. We tend to use young ladies when referring to older unmarried females. Preferable late teens – early twenties and sometimes even thirties. Just thought I would share, but it would make me feel warm inside if you would heed especially in this kind of froidi we having out here tonight.
