Four contestants will on Sunday 15th February 2015 take to the stage to compete for the Miss St. Mark and St. Luke Teenage Pageant title at the Soufriere Basketball Court.

The show is expected to begin at 6:00 pm.

The contestants are Jennif Daniel from Pointe Michel, Stacia Renault from Soufriere, Selena Gregoire from Pointe Michel and contestant, Hendrica Smith from Salisbury but representing Soufriere.

They will participate in six segments: Opening Round, Speech, Talent, Casual Wear, Evening Wear and Question and Answer.

One of the organizers of the event, Malissa Jno Lewis, told Dominica News Online that the show was conceptualized after the first Miss Noel in 2014 at the Caribantic in Scotts Head when a few young ladies from neighboring Pointe Michel requested to participate in another pageant whenever it is held.

“So I said for a change, for a first time, we can have a Miss St. Mark and Miss St. Luke,” she said. “It’s one show but it combines the Pointe Michel and Soufriere girls.”

The Pageant forms part of the community’s carnival celebrations.

A fee of $5 children and $10 for adults will be charged.

There will be live entertainment by: Carsim Birmingham, Street Swag Royalty Dance Crew both from Soufriere, Dynamic Dancers from Pointe Michel and Calypsonian Charis (Charis D) Daniel.
