Dominica is blessed with top notch talent in the “roots reggae” genre of music. What about Silk Asara and similar Dominican artists?

Extremely poor line up. LIME has the same artists over and over and over again. Rah, Asa and Benji sings on Monday and Thursday. This Bouyon evolution idead is ludicrous to say the least. Why have the same artist over and over again?

Why put Sickberry? Sickberry hardly performs anywhere. He can’t even sing. Last year was a disaster and he is brought back again. Is it because people in LIME has a deeper interest.

Why bring back old school WCK so soon. Nostalgia must not be overdone.

LIME wheel and come again. CITP is now a foolish old show with no focus.

I’m sorry from last year the line up is getting boring and more boring..It’s too localized..I don’t mind the local bands but everyday should have atleast 2 international or regional bands..atleast that would benefit the people who can’t afford a ticket to the world creole music festival..

It is really hard to please our Dominican people. Every year when they have a reggae act on the lineup for WCMF you guys complain about giving preference to foreign bands over local groups.

Now CTP has the same local groups year in year out and now the same people are complaining that it is boring with no diversity.

What do you want? If they have to give preference to local bands, of course there will be no diversity because there are only so many local bands to go around.

Even when allu get what allu ask for, allu still complaining.

I must agree this comment. Everbody has varying views the creole in the park line up every year.we should be grateful that the organizers have included a lot Dominican artiste and bands for such a small entry fee. Some Dominicans are so hard to please!!!!!

Dominica’s best emerging talents. please and no one from Grand Bay is represented among the emerging talents. i guess if you are from Grand Bay you are automatically disqualified because some of the best i have heard since i got here couple months ago is out of Grand Bay.
Have you heard of music spell to include artist like Stilly Man, Self Made Cheese, Jeson Ray Charles just to name a few. you guys a full of bs. so shock that even Lime is in to politics when it comes to entertainment. big up to Grand Bay the cultural capital of Dominica. we need to start having our own creole in the park. ma tutu’s park that is so that we can show these bias people what we are built for because with all the talent in Grand Bay i am sure that we can outshine Lime’s creole in park garbage line up. no disrespect to all the local artist that was chosen. just want Lime to think about it.

Considering that there is a dangerous disease (ebola) threatening to cut down on the number of people who inhabit this world I commend lime for minimizing on the number of foreign acts we have. We do not need foreign acts to enjoy what is ours. Even if we do not have acts from the worse affected countries it is so easy for one of the nurses who came in contact with Eric Duncan to pass on the disease to someone who has roots in the Caribbean or family to someone in the Caribbean who recently travelled back to the Caribbean. However I believe the chances of us getting this disease are stronger from those coming from America. The world is now a village and not as huge as we once thought it to be.

Why are the great bands like first serenade, ectasy and fanatik playing so early. Geez we will still be at work. It is obvious that WCK and Triple kay were given later hours. I guess thats LIME aim, have 3 of Dominicas best band play for an empty park, whilst they Lime promote mediocracy to a full park later in the evening. The same bull in Dominica over and over in different áreas. The calypsonians are right when they sing of the bull…. our country is filled off. Admin thanks for posting my comment

not really tired of asa nuh cuz his style of singing is social commentary my thing is u hear one song u hear em all same rhythm same beat …..a few good songs in there to get ppl thinking altho he needs a bit of work in his lyrics and too much beff and story its a lil much sometimes

LIME has really made their name with the CITP events their attendance is always massive and the line up is always diverse, personal aside from carnival the CITP even is the only other activity i actually look forward to through out the year, dont get me wrong ive attended the WCF alot of times and its good as well but im sure every ones with me on this when is say CITP is the better out of the two.
