Nice to see that Observer is still at it after all these years. Goodwill all the way. The Crab and Manicou Hunter will take a break from hunting during the Calypso finals.

So $80 eh. Why is it that we have to pay 80 dollars for a calypso finals? We paying just about 80 dollars or less for wcmf. So lets compare then. Wcmf 4 international bands on any one night with perfomance fees as high as US$75,000 no lower than US$15,000 (king gets US$8000). Pro sound and lights from overseas over US$100,000. Adds and marketing, triple the security, hotel and accommodation, transportation, food, and list goes on. Further i have never seen more people in one place at any event in dominica than those finals but still the DCA anounces 3500 patrons ever year. Just 2 years ago triple raise EC$60000. For the education trust fund at 20 dollars a head so that is 3000 people. DCA need straighten up too much boobol now man. And they even taking vip making it even cheaper again for them. So ill just have to listen on the radio because i refuse to be part of this robbery of both the calysonians and dominican people.
