The 2012 edition of Creole in the Park ended on Thursday with a packed Botanic Gardens and a series of lively performances.
Patrons were treated to performances by Ti Orkest, Rohie, Asa Banton, Freddie and Friends featuring Gordon Henderson, and Rohie.
There were appearances by the 2012 Carnival Queen constestants, the DOMFESTA Creole Song winner Henry Ettiene, the Pointe Michel Cultural Group and BigBen.
However it was Jamaican artiste, Mr. Vegas, who was the center of attraction and who brought down the curtains on the event.

Fantastic opportunity for a real community fare. Thank God for excellent weather.
When are we gonna have “Prodigy Block” on WMCF? They are a young band out of St. Croix with Dominican parents from Bourne, Portsmouth and La Plaine. They played in Portsmouth in May after the Creole Jazz. They’ll be back in December. Check them out in Portsmouth! Their musical talent didn’t come from too far. Gordon Henderson is their Grand Uncle. Check them out!
these faces are sad
i been looking at pics from the park and the faces look so sad, or troubled, or angry, or pensive, isnt it supposed to be a fete?
any way i saw a few happy faces
I wish to congratulate the management of lime, double A, big Bull and the many participants that made creole in the park the success it was, however,I was very disappointed with the Chinese businesses in Roseau, approximately forty five of them, didn’t help sponsor the shows. Almost ever business in Dominica sponsored the shows at one stage,so while Domincans are flocking the Chinese businesses especially in Roseau, them Chinese wether citizens or not does not care wether we sink or float, all they care about is our money.
