Yes they coming to America and working like slaves.
Hard, real hard, to make ends meet. Some of them the places they leaving leave much to be desired just to they they in states.

Give Dominicans a break when a celebrating is on and people are enjoying themselves.

Wish they wish they were there.

Day one of the show, in my opinion, was almost perfect, until Colton T was called on stage to perform. This “pull up” nonsense after every song has started was nauseating. As far as I am concerned Colton never completed a whole song. Next time take your Q from Chubby amd the midnight grovers

      October 23, 2012

hmmmm acctually it was the fault of the band (inside person). Apparently Caribbean Vibes did not see it necessary to practice Colton’s Songs in its entirety. sad. cause they are well known for this bull shit. messed up the dude’s entire performance.!

Dominicans like to party too much – and only know God during an impending disaster. Life for most Dominicans is drinking, clubbing, smoking and partying – no age limits.

Yep, I said it and whether I am liked or not is of little significance to me.

    Cheers!

If I’m not mistaken america have strip clubs and clubs moving 24/7
Dominica barely have a nightlife outside of the weekend. Most other countries have big club life every night. Everybody deserves a chance to enjoy themselves after they work hard. Is not for 1 set and I have no problem with a festival once in awhile. Everyday can never be independence for us Dominicans when we barely have party opportunities is people like you that give Dominicans a bad name and put us in bad light. You probably don’t even live here. When you look a DNO you rarely see anything about a fete.

GTHOH!! Somebody fault your life miserable and empty. Let people live their lives. The same GOD you speak of didn’t tell you to remove the plank in your eyes before you see the splinter in others eye. Dominicans alone that like to party? If you all are living like slaves elsewhere, stressed out and at your lowest ebb see your shrink and let people be. YEP I said it to you too damn party pooper. You too holy and miserable

and what you think is of NO significants to us either. Im a dominican, live, eat and breath in my country. I dont party nor smoke and ASK for clubbing, we dont even have clubs except for krazy kokonuts which is a waste of time. i agree that God is only known when it benefits us…..BUT you only seem to see one set. what about the ones like me who work with no play?????? i havnt even had a chance to go to the park, and might not get it. LEAVE US DOMINICANS BE….if u aint proud of ur ppl…..KEEP UR SAD COMMENTS TO URSELF…..small minded

there’s nothing wrong in partying is not bad once it’s done safely; life is too short not to enjoy. Yet working’ creating jobs is even wonderful :

      October 23, 2012

This is not just party.. This is and has been work to alot of us. it is a showcase of what we have to offer. Something positive something local. There are those of us who have spent many a sleepless night working to make it what it is. So if you dont like it im sorry but dont try to degrade it and Dominicans because of your beliefs. Oh and please sop trying use God to make it look bad. Alot of us like to bring God in when we oppose certain things but being there is not the problem clubbing is not the problem drinking is not the problem. it is how you do it. drunkeness not drinking is the sin. since you know so much what was Jesus’ first miracle? if i recall it was turning water into wine.moderation my friend.
