Again I donot live in a crave but in my own house; I donot work as slave. As any country ; how you make your bed is how you lay on it; live can either build you or break you; American Gover/m take care of it’s people but I like to work not a lazy D/can.WISH===up.NOUGH TALK. I lived in other Car/bbean islands and know what life is. If you come to this country think positive and progress your life donot be a fool. WISE–UP NOUGH TALK—WAY TO—-
As Asher Thomas start performing d park get empty

Yes they coming to America and working like slaves.
Hard, real hard, to make ends meet. Some of them the places they leaving leave much to be desired just to they they in states.
Give Dominicans a break when a celebrating is on and people are enjoying themselves.
Wish they wish they were there.
Thanks for the pics DNO. Would really appreciate if they could be annotated. Is not all your readers that are familiar with the happenings, and to many pics without titles are just that .
Day one of the show, in my opinion, was almost perfect, until Colton T was called on stage to perform. This “pull up” nonsense after every song has started was nauseating. As far as I am concerned Colton never completed a whole song. Next time take your Q from Chubby amd the midnight grovers
hmmmm acctually it was the fault of the band (inside person). Apparently Caribbean Vibes did not see it necessary to practice Colton’s Songs in its entirety. sad. cause they are well known for this bull shit. messed up the dude’s entire performance.!
I so agree with u on this one Bless Up…
I just LOVE 365,mmp
I just love to see such beautiful pictures of my island DOMINICA;my village V/CASE; regards to all my people in V/CASE;my uncle CYMBERT in goodwill;taxi-man my cousin PATERSON;BON JOUR TO ALL. THE DEAR LORD GAVE US SUCH A GREAT PLACE BUT PEOPLE CAN DESTROY IT.They just need to organize themselves grow more fruits and vegetables and god will help.I AM PROUD TO BE A DOMINICAN——FROM NEW YORK
Just send your family a card or better still use a phone card and call them. They will not read it on here.
Why some people have so much stupid talks, nothing positive shut-up—– this is a modern world from the villages of Africa way down to D/ca people are on face-book so this is now I keep in touch, with my African family and they certainly donot talk like that. People from Enugu Lagos are totally positive people.I donot have to buy a phone card etc—–Get a life. Go tell my family.BOOOO LOVE TO TALK TRASH
So de die nah ? De doh ha de net then? But i doe see wid u ! While i dere le me shout out ma uncle n ma sis in Grand Fond , ma cuz in de prison n ma frens on de islan. Love u all.

what else is there to do beside party,
how about work and invest????
hhhmmmmmm i heard through the grapevine that a leading band singer left his group…. because of wohman bizness….. i want asa banton to tell me if is true…..
Dominicans like to party too much – and only know God during an impending disaster. Life for most Dominicans is drinking, clubbing, smoking and partying – no age limits.
Yep, I said it and whether I am liked or not is of little significance to me.
Cheers!
I agree
oh plz!!!! it’s part of our independents celebration…u not in favour close ur eyes and stay at ur home…some of us Dominicans are to hypocrite!!!SMH
well it seems like we celebrating independence all year round.
Everyday is independence for you dominicans. Drinking, partying, clubbing and next day go church making sign of the cross as if God is tebeh. I am saying it like it is whether you guys like it or not. please!
waitikubuli
If I’m not mistaken america have strip clubs and clubs moving 24/7
Dominica barely have a nightlife outside of the weekend. Most other countries have big club life every night. Everybody deserves a chance to enjoy themselves after they work hard. Is not for 1 set and I have no problem with a festival once in awhile. Everyday can never be independence for us Dominicans when we barely have party opportunities is people like you that give Dominicans a bad name and put us in bad light. You probably don’t even live here. When you look a DNO you rarely see anything about a fete.
GTHOH!! Somebody fault your life miserable and empty. Let people live their lives. The same GOD you speak of didn’t tell you to remove the plank in your eyes before you see the splinter in others eye. Dominicans alone that like to party? If you all are living like slaves elsewhere, stressed out and at your lowest ebb see your shrink and let people be. YEP I said it to you too damn party pooper. You too holy and miserable
Trust me we love to party and partying is good eh i tell you! but too much can be a problem.
LOL – You drank too much, relax and take a chill pill. I am staying right here on DNO and say it like it is without stress and anger. Lol you guys get too angry when someone takes an opposing view. LOL
Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!
Why click on the story about “creole in the park” if it is going to upset. Must have thought it was a creole crusade in the park.
you mean you tebeh
suspect u brokes just like me this week!!!!!!!!! We have seen better days.
Anon – no dear, just saying it like it is. I use my money wisely so I am not broke. I learned to save for “rainy” days.
you right
and what you think is of NO significants to us either. Im a dominican, live, eat and breath in my country. I dont party nor smoke and ASK for clubbing, we dont even have clubs except for krazy kokonuts which is a waste of time. i agree that God is only known when it benefits us…..BUT you only seem to see one set. what about the ones like me who work with no play?????? i havnt even had a chance to go to the park, and might not get it. LEAVE US DOMINICANS BE….if u aint proud of ur ppl…..KEEP UR SAD COMMENTS TO URSELF…..small minded
there’s nothing wrong in partying is not bad once it’s done safely; life is too short not to enjoy. Yet working’ creating jobs is even wonderful :
@waitukubuli-original – Well said!!
This is not just party.. This is and has been work to alot of us. it is a showcase of what we have to offer. Something positive something local. There are those of us who have spent many a sleepless night working to make it what it is. So if you dont like it im sorry but dont try to degrade it and Dominicans because of your beliefs. Oh and please sop trying use God to make it look bad. Alot of us like to bring God in when we oppose certain things but being there is not the problem clubbing is not the problem drinking is not the problem. it is how you do it. drunkeness not drinking is the sin. since you know so much what was Jesus’ first miracle? if i recall it was turning water into wine.moderation my friend.
Sounds like you jealous…free up yourself, man. Take it easy and free up yourself. You working too hard in de foreign.
