All students of the 2001 graduating class of the Grand Bay Secondary School, now known as the Pierre Charles Secondary School, along with limited guests, are invited to attend the 10-year High School Reunion. This is a four-day event which will begin on Friday, July 29th, 2011 until August 1st, 2011. Please contact Ezra Ulysses at [email protected] ASAP with questions and for additional information.
The deadline for RSVPs, (April 30th, 2011) is quickly approaching and the planning committee wants to ensure that many will be able to attend and enjoy the reunion celebrations. A local contact, who will handle contributions and any urgent requests, will be provided upon request. A list of the reunion activities is listed below, this is subject to change:
P.C.S.S High School Reunion Schedule of Events
Friday July 29, 2011: Meet ‘N Greet
This event will give all individuals an opportunity to ‘catch-up’, socialize, converse and reunite with old classmates.
Venue: GBSS courtyard
Time: 6:00pm – till
Saturday July 30, 2011: BBQ/ Family Fun Day
This event will be a great opportunity to get all graduates and their family members involved in an active, fun-filled day of activities. We will have the chance to re-live our memories of Sports Day in a way that gets everyone involved.
Venue: Geneva Playing Field
Time: 11:00am – till…
Sunday July 31st: Formal Dinner
The formal dinner will allow graduates to partake in a relaxing and enjoyable evening; having the opportunity to re-live our graduation ball/prom for those who attended and for those who were not able to attend this will be a perfect chance to make some new memories as a class. We are hoping to have the food for this event catered so as to alleviate the stress of cooking on the organizers. It will also be an ideal time to reminisce on the old memories through a slide show of old school photos.
Venue: GBSS Auditorium
Time: 7:00pm till
Monday August 1st: Beach Day
We will head to the beach as a group to celebrate a successful and enjoyable weekend!

Edison James and Ron Green worked hard along with the officials of the Ministry of Education and Charles Gregoire and the Grand Bay Community at that time to have that Grand Bay School built! REMEMBER THAT!

THis SCHOOL and ITS FORMER STUDENTS, ESPECIALLY MY CLASS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH, AND WANT NO AFFLIATION WITH POLITICAL CONFUSION AND EMBARRASSMENT!…. PLEASE KEEP YOUR INSIGNIFICANT COMMENT TO YOUR SELF AND STOP WASTING THE USE OF A KEYBOARD. I would be very grateful, as I request that DNO would not publish any comments that are politically affliated to cause any confusion on this advert!!
pl;ease put a shut to the up idiot. a reunion has nothing to do with politics allu dominicans too asssss ; it wasnt our fault de name de school after late mr. charles
Agreed… It’s a reunion, a time of fun and celebration – no politics please.
Good Job to All involved…..I know of another group that was planning one but it didn’t fully come through….
(from a former teacher of the group…..still teaching at the institution)
Congrats class of 2001. I would have love to see where you guys had a day to give back to the community thought but have fun anyway. Class of ’93 you’ll outta be ashamed. We started planning one but the kids in Dominica decided they were too good for that but I came and I had fun at Lovely’s party.
We did discuss a day to actually give back, and this is subject to change. We can always do something, that doesn’t necessarily needs to be part of our scheduled events. We will discuss the topic though, and it may come to fruition.
That’s good….I have no doubt you’ll will come up with something….good luck and have fun.
Good Luck Ez and the bunch in organizing this. Have fun. While I am at it Thanks to the people who shaped this school -Mr. James K. Henderson (first principal), Mr. Ted Serrant (the real sculptor – the best) and Mr. James Alexander – none like you- this is where I left and have not kept up.
