Six young ladies from Soufriere, Scotts Head and Gallion, will on Tuesday do battle in four rounds for the title of Miss St. Mark Noel at the Caribantic in Scotts Head.
The show begins at 5:00 pm.
The contestansts are: Allison George, 15, Shania Tavernier, 15, Chrisma John Baptiste, 14, from Soufriere, Evonna Renault, 15, Shernelle Alexander, 15, from Scotts Head and from Gallion, Malika Williams, 17.
They will compete in opening round, casual wear, evening wear and talent segments.
Main organizer and one of the sponsors of the event, US-based Jeff Bellot, told DNO that the aim of the show is to reunite the three communities.
“Since after the election we have a divided community and we are trying to bring everybody back together. So I think that this is a good way to start so people can work together,” he said. “We are asking the general public to come support the young ladies and let’s move on from the election and just get together.”
He said that there will be great prizes for the contestants as well as the audience.
“I think that this is going to be a very good show. In fact we haven’t had this in a long time,” Bellot stated.
He said the pageant is expected to be an annual event.
Entry fee to the show is $5 for children and $10 for adults.

To The Organiser(s)
Grateful if you could outreach to those in the diaspora from the of St Mark for sponsorship because I’d love have have sponsored this event.
Please don’t be disenfranchised by the lack of resources to be innovative and from doing anything meaningful for our beloved Parish of St Mark!
Love the pics. The girls look like…girls. Not trying to be too grown up or anything.
