St. Lucian artiste Scottish will be the headline act during a tour to Dominica this August dubbed ‘767 meets 758 Foam and Fog Fete.’
Talent Management Firm, Elite Entertainment is organizing the promotional event which takes place over August 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st at different venues on island.
Elite Entertainment, ran by Dominican and St. Lucian promoters, say they are taking advantage of the cultural connection between the two islands by bringing together artistes who can appeal to party-goers on both islands.
Scottish featured prominently during St. Lucia’s 2013 Carnival where he has been making waves for his catchy, soca inspired tunes. Presley Dunstan Scotland, who has been a music producer for the past ten years in his native St. Lucia, released the groovy and power soca tunes, ‘Stampede’, ‘Doh Do Dat’ and ‘Gi Dem Trouble,’ earlier this year.
Organizers say he will be officially presented to the Dominican public during the four-day event this month.
The ‘Foam and Fog Fete’ will also feature local acts including De Luxe F of Grandbay, Tizzy and local DJs Zero and Smooth. Organizers are also promising the inclusion of local bands and surprise guest artistes on the line up.
The ‘Foam and Fog Fete’ has already secured the support of Dominica News Online and Telecommunications Company DIGICEL.
