Twenty semi finalists or this year’s calypso competition have been chosen. Those moving on from the quarter final which was held on Saturday night are: Janae, Jenious, Stephan, De Healer, Beno, Jamma B, Omee, Checko, Jaydee, Observer, Tasha P, Webb, Sye, Comforter, Karessa, Daddy Chess, Lugaz, De Bobb, Leona, De Wizard.

calypso is divisive and separates the people. people who like gossip, like to give maypwii and like to mind people business that love calypso. same tunes year in year out, people swear swinging stars is the best band ever but really they get a 1.5 out of 5 in the calypso arena. (see trinidad bands). Meanwhile it makes hundreds of thousands yearly during carnival.
No crowd at Mascamp, but we still have 8 Crowns.
Great show,lots of people,vehicles parked all on bayfront ,newtown and all over same with Stardom,transport all loubiere, newtown,citronier but the Mascamp cannot get anybody,something very wrong and it have nothing to do with the economy!
