The Asylum Riddim, produced by up and coming Dominican producer, Kreig Harris was officially released on Monday June 13, 2016 after almost a year of due diligence in his home-based studio in Stockfarm, Dominica.
The Asylum Riddim originally started off as another leisure-time project for this music aficionado but soon morphed into a preoccupation, taking up all of the producer’s studio time. After constructive criticism from a few persons during the infancy stage of the project, Kreig delved head first into making his dream a reality. Inspired by some of the recent work released by powerhouse producer, Dada music Lawrence, Harris invited several Dominican artists to jump on the project.
Asylum Riddim, launched on Monday 13th June 2016 featuring three (3) Dominican artists Mel-C, Avlim and Kruzan. There are several other tracks in the pipeline to be released, however these three released tunes are sure to whet the appetite and satisfy new music cravings.
The Producer encourages everyone with a passion to take a bold step and invest time and energy into what they love. He also appeals to Dominicans to support local talent and help push their content, “the market out there is intense and competitive, we need all the help we can get.”
He is of the firm belief that with the necessary support of the Dominican public and perseverance of the artists, they can reach the world stage, promoting themselves and by extension, Dominica.
Kreig, also wants to take time from the launch of the Asylum Riddim to applaud the efforts of several artists, bands and producers like Oozy & Colton T, Producer Scrappy the Riddim God and Dominican band, Breve for putting in the work and remaining committed to their musical craft.
He would also like to remind all current and aspiring artists that KAHZ Media Productions is opened to work with all artists in Dominica that are serious about building a career in music.
